As a poker player who participated in the World Series of Poker nine times, Harroch earned notoriety for writing, “Poker for Dummies,” which provides both advanced and beginner tactics for multiple poker game variants. As a distinguished Internet entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Harroch also crafted a Wall Street Journal “Best Selling Business Book,” which shared his insights on start-up and emerging businesses. Harroch graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a B.A. and membership in Phi Beta Kappa, one of the oldest academic honor societies in America. After U.C. Berkeley, Harroch pursued a Law Degree from UCLA. During his studies at UCLA, Harroch served as Managing Editor of the Law Review, which contributed to his early growth as a writer. Harroch’s degree in law propelled him into a successful, early law career. Harroch became a Partner with Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, a prestigious global law firm that was formed in San Francisco in 1863. While performing legal duties with Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, Richard Harroch began experimenting with his own companies, forming AllBusiness.com in 1998 and LawCommerce, Inc. in 2000.
